customise the verify email message - 13-07-2005, 11:56 AM

Firstly V3 is working a treat, well done to all involved

Have a question in relation to the email response that's sent out when a user registers. I would like to customise the message part of the email, is this possible, if so where to I change it.. I can't see which template it might be.

any help would be appreciated

Its indeed possible, The template is email_autoresponder under Tickets category.

Hi Varun,

thanks for the reply. Looking at the code in that template, I don't see where this relates to the initial message a user is emailed when the register on esuport.

The email message in the initial email has a link which the user must click to confirm their registration on the system.

I'm using the esupport system for an internal helpdesk, so rather than
having the hyperlink text 'AOL users click here' in the inital registration email, I'd like to modify this to something else.

On the emails currently received, there's a plain text link and the phrase 'AOL users click here' I'd prefer to have just the one clickable link for registerigng.

Customizing Registration Emails - 09-03-2006, 09:30 PM

I was also wondering where we can customize the text for the Registration Verification email and the Registration Success email?

The email_autoresponder is sent when the User is already registered and they have submitted a new ticket.

You can do so under Admin CP > Languages > Manage Phrases.
