Customising the index page

Does anyone know how to customise the index page ?

I'd like to add my own icons and descritpions to link to some of my other services but I just can't see where to do that (I look at the index template but all I see is the PHP code).

Also, I'd like to be able to open the chat window to anywhere in my site so does anyone know the filepath to that ?

And another thing (I'm beginning to sound like a schoolboy), if you integrate with Modernbill does that mean clients have direct access to their modernbill account without having to login again (assuming obviously they've logged in from the index page)?

instead of the Index page, what your looking for are widgets. hter eis a page you can modify and change them, there are a number of threads on here discussing widgets.

as far as modern bill, i thought once it was integrated that the user is actually logged in using modernbill and it is the primary thing they get. i have not set that up yet but am considering it, iso i may be jsut talking wind at this point.

If users need to access modernbill they would need to login to that directly, there was a link posted a while ago to someone elses system who had made a hack that auto logged the user in.

It would be great to see something like that released to the community.
