Customize Date Format for Calendar Control

Is there anyway to change the calendar control such as those used in the teamwork new event / new task or in the ticket due date to display M/d/Y? The admin Date/Time setting did not seem to do the trick.

Has anyone figured out a way to change the JS Calendar due date in the ticket window from European date format to US date format???
