| Customized ticket submission form with captcha -

Hi~
We currently have a customized form that post to the ticket submission form, which works okay. Since we've been receiving more and more spam from the tickets, we would like to turn on the CAPTCHA option. However, this would result in a 2 step process for the user: First they enter the information and submit, then they would be stopped at the ticket submission page and have to pass the CAPTCHA verification. Is there anyway to make the user experience more smoothly by turning this into a single-step process, while still keep some form of CAPTCHA verification?
I was trying to send a web request to the ticket submission form to retrieve the CAPTCHA image first and display on the customized form, then post user's response along with the rest of the form, but couldn't seem to get it to work. I was wondering if anyone have any suggestions or know of any existing solutions to resolve this (doesn't have to use customized form). Thanks in advance for anyone's help~!
