cvs installtion how to

Hello,

can somebody tell me how I install the cvs version of supportsuite?

I have no idea how that works, but I installed gallery2 successful using this:

$ cvs -dserver:anonymous@cvs.sf.net:/cvsroot/gallery login
(if it asks for a password, just hit enter)
$ cvs -dserver:anonymous@cvs.sf.net:/cvsroot/gallery co gallery2

and for the updates:

$ cd gallery2
$ cvs update -Pd

I thinks thats quite easy!


So, something similar I need for supportsuite, something I can copy and paste...

BTW, using cvs will result in using beta versions? Or is there a way to use cvs and only get the stable versions installed?


And, one more: I have version 026 or something like that installed, using a normal ftp installation. Can I go for cvs now with this installation, or do I have to delete all files and start again with cvs?

Greg, it look there is no real CVS installation/updates available. All you can do is you can download fresh CVS build and install it as per docs. Correct me if I'm wrong.
