Database Copy Problems

Hi all,

We operate a Kayako system which is on the Fully Owned license, however we appear to have run into problems when attempting to create a test environment offline for unification of the branding with our main site.

When we try to setup a Kayako server locally and copy of our database to it so we had some real usage to work with, it appears that the database is either corrupt or encrypted in some form? Is this something anyone has any answers for? Is it linked to the license, hence why its not accessible without being on our licensed domain?

Hi Antony,

The database or data in the database is not encrypted. Please can you describe the problems you're running into in more detail, including what is making you think that the database export is corrupt/encrypted?

Hi Jamie,

It was the swift.php had appeared to become corrupt, not the database. My appologies.

It might be worth deleting this thread as my problems were solved in another one.
