Delay in autoresponses - 29-04-2008, 02:55 PM

Good Morning,

I always try to do a an exhaustive search before I post a question but couldn't find anything on this.

Over the past few days it's taking quite a bit of time for the autoresponses to be received. I have other staff who began to notice it but it didn't seem that it was that much of a delay until this morning. I entered a reply in a ticket for a staff member and she told me that she didn't get the reply in her email until at least 30 minutes later.

Is anyone else or has anyone else experienced this and how did you solve the problem?

It is one of two things. Either your SMTP server is under load or the receiving SMTP server of the end user is slow.
