Exclamation Deleting Groups which have tickets assigned to ... - 13-05-2008, 11:21 PM

Hello,

We had originally two groups in our kayako as it was for two different companies. Now we are merging everything into ONE.

In the tickets view, we see that many tickets are associated to the group we want to delete and only keep the other one. SO questions are:

1) How can we move ALL the tickets from a certain group to another group ??

2) If number 1 cannot be done, if we delete the group we want deleted, what will happen to all the tickets which are assigned to that group ??

Please help us in finding a solution to this

Thank You

Only way would be to go into the database using phpMyAdmin and run SQL queries on the database.

They just sit not assigned to anything so you can't view them via the staff interface. V4 will hopefully see the options to move into another group or delete them when deleting a group with any luck save these manual SQL queries having to be run.

So that means, we cannot delete the group ?? Can you provide a complete solution to this problem including the SQL queries to run if that is the only solution ...

Thanks
