deleting users with zero tickets - 21-05-2006, 09:16 AM

as i have configured my support desk to accept any email (users don't need to register send us email), there are many so called "registered users" which are actually spam addresses. I deleted the spam long ago already, but the user remains.

Is there anything i can do on this, is it possible to delete these zero tickets users? if possible i would like to run it as a scheduled tasks in esupport.

Have the same problem 'Registered Users' yet it was spam (even though we do require registration prior to submitting - go figure) and need to clean all these out as sending any News is a major headache of bounces from all those addresses.

Any solution to clean it out apart from checking tens of thousnands of email addresses ?

This is a must - 19-08-2006, 04:57 PM

I agree that this is reall neccessary feature. We can easily ban e-mail adresses but deleting them from user section is really a big thing.

Deleting users with 0 tickets will be helpful.

Perhaps we can add this under maintainance but what about the users who register but dont actually submit a ticket?

ban & delete ticket and user. - 22-08-2006, 12:01 PM

Varun hi;
Can we have an option at the tickets section as a mass action selection
"ban & delete ticket and user" in this case we can keep registered but not submitted any tickets users on the other hand by banning spam tickets we can also keep users section clean from unecessary users.

Thanks;

Hakan
