Disable Lost Password - 06-04-2006, 11:39 PM

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to disable the 'Lost Password' functionality for a multi-templated eSupport install? I am using several templates and have found that users can request new password for restricted templates that ultimately grants them access to those templates. I am comfortable in removing the Lost Password functionality altogether as a solution to this problem if it's possible.

Anyone ever do this?

Thanks very much,

Have you deleted the links from the appropriate templates?

Thanks atech - I will give this a try.

For the record, this would seem to defeat the purpose of having multiple templates setup for satellite helpdesks. Is it a known issue? Can I submit a bug report?

Thanks,

I was told that, by using templates, I could restrict user groups to certain departments. This does in fact work properly except when you request a Lost Password. The password sent to you will work for the template that you requested it from - even if you're not registered for it (ie, your User Group doesn't allow you access to it).
