Question Does a kayako manual exist? - 03-05-2006, 08:03 AM

Our scheduled tasks seems a little out of whack. And they aren't being run, most notably the pop3/imap fetch. Which makes it difficult to run a help desk. Is there a manual for Kayako? It says "for more information, please refer to the Scheduled Tasks section of the manual" when I try to run the pop3/imap fetcher manually. So I look all over for the manual. Not in the members area. Knowledgebase says this:
http://support.kayako.net/index.php?...kbarticleid=65
"The Users Manual is included in the product package and can also be downloaded from our Downloads Area."

Neither of which is true unless it's really well hidden.

Thank you Neil! Exactly what I was looking for. The mythical manual... it does exist!

The .chm manual is content-less... Thinking that Kayako doesn't want us to see any manuals, I try the pdf version and it works! Not only that, it has the answer I was looking for. Apparently I have to add the http://support.acceleratebiz.com/cro....php?_t=parser cron task. You'd think this vital piece of information would've been in the installation manual included in the tar.gz file...

This thread is being bumped as it is a top return in Google for "kayako manual".

The ongoing documentation of all of our products can be reviewed here:

Thanks,
