Double spacing of sig files in emails - how do I make single spaced?

Hi,

I have noticed that within eSupport the signature files for each user appear single spaced (in the blank where you enter the sig file within admin) and they also are single spaced when appearing within tickets of the staff area. However, when the actual email goes out to the client the sig file is double spaced, making it REALLY LONG and looks bad. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think the text editor takes a 'Enter' stroke by embedding < p> < /p> tags around the text. For my sig i just did this:
My Name < br>My Title < br> My Company
