Downloads are in wrong file format - 11-08-2008, 03:25 PM

Hi

I've installed esupport and everything is running fine except sometimes when I go to download files they download as .zip files instead of the correct format, this only seems to happen in Internet Explorer.

I could live with the problem except that included in the zip file are a load of the esupport .php files

Soes anyone know what might be causing this?

Thanks

Hi Cormac,

Which SupportSuite version are you running, and how are you downloading the files (are you clicking "Download" or right-clicking and "Save Target As..")?

Hi Jamie

I discovered what was causing the issue - the file extension, for some reason IE (7) has problems with the .pptx extension and would download the file (bundled with a load of eSupport .php files) as a .zip. I re-saved the documents as .ppt and they download fine now.

I'm not sure what version of esupport I'm running. The most recent I think, I only purchased it a week or two ago.

Thanks for your quick response.
