E-mail Attachment Size (Ticket not downloaded) - 16-04-2008, 07:08 AM

Hi,

I have an e-mail with 6mb attachment and the e-mail is inside my webmail but not downloaded into Kayako as ticket.

I've already changed php.ini maxupload to 7mb, what else should I change?

Thanks

What is the memory_limit to set? Change post_max_size from 7M to 20M.

*****php.ini*****
memory_limit = 128M
post_max_size = 8M

I've changed to 20MB as recommended without changing memory_limit
post_max_size = 20M

*****running cron/index.php?_t=parser now*****
doesn't work... email still inside webmail (not being downloaded by kayako)

Try setting it to a really high figure and see if that helps.

What is the max_execution_time setting in php.ini set to? There is a good chance that the script might be timing out before it would have completed the email download.

I did that. still not downloading that email as ticket.

/etc/php.ini
/usr/local/lib/php.ini

Both php.ini seems like having a different value. Which one should be the correct one? Can someone come up with a verified solution for this issue?

max_execution_time = 30 ; Maximum execution time of each script, in seconds

Check your phpinfo to see which php.ini is being used. In most cases it would be the /etc/php.ini one.

Change max_execution_time = 600;

Run the cron parser run manually in the browser and see if it throws out any errors. Also you might want to check your phpinfo file just to make sure that the changes you made are being reflected.
