E-mail fetching not working - 07-07-2006, 03:27 PM

Hello,

When i run "cron/index.php?_t=parser"
The e-mail fetching works fine as it is supposed to be.

How do i automate this feature?

On the "admin/index.php?_m=core&_a=managetasks" page i enabled the POP3/IMAP fetching service.
I also configured the mailparsing.

But none of this seems to make esupport fetch its e-mail automaticly.

You probably have to setup a cron to run those files every 5 minutes for instance.

that would be strange because its talks about "fetch pop3/imap every 10min" (enabled)

Ah, not sure then honestly. I've only gotten this product and still awaiting for them to fix my domain as I registered the wrong one.

However, from my experience, with both Cerberus and SupportTrio, you have to manually put in the cron. I would suggest doing that. It won't hurt anything and more likely than not it'll fix the issue.

the 10 min auto job - 08-07-2006, 03:35 PM

the 10 min one works, except most people don't want 10 minutes. So you have to set up a cron job to get it for you "manually" but at the rate you want.

So are you saying that it will fetch automatically every 10 minutes without a cron job?

If it means that I don't have to setup a cron job to get this work, I'll can wait 10 minutes to get email tickets, that's ok.
