Email Alerts - 01-12-2005, 07:06 AM

I have the latest version 3 build installed and integrated with ModernBill. When a client opens a ticket through their client area, I am not alerted via email of this even though I've got an Alert rule setup for it. I do receive new ticket alerts when someone sends in a ticket through the mail parser. Also, I do receive client reply alerts as well, which is part of the same Alert rule. So, in all, Alerts are working as I need them to be except for new ticket alerts through the ticket system in the ModernBill client area. Has anyone seen this problem?

They claim this is fixed in the newest release, 3.00.27. We're upgrading to this new version tonight to see if this problem is fixed.

I've "fixed" this in 3.00.27. I'm not sure the fix is great or that it won't break other parts of esupport but it works for us so far. Edit modules/tickets/functions_alertrules.php and comment line 156 back in.

Can someone from kayako confirm that this is the desired "fix" or if not what a better one would be?

I also have this bug. All alerts tickets works except to notify of new ticket to the staff when the ticket comes from Modernbill. The user reciebe the alert of new ticket but the staff not . The replys works .

"No Alert emails are sent to the eSupport/SupportSuite Staff Users when a 'New Ticket' is created from ModernBill. Although an Email Alert is sent to the eSupport Staff User when the ModernBill client updates an existing ticket by adding a new reply. Tested on SupportSuite v3.00.13."

If fixed now? where can i see the change log of the daily CVS releases?

"Seems like our developers have missed this bug in v3.00.27. This will be fixed in the upcoming release. Thank You for your patience."

Not sure. We're a ittle skeptical to update anymore as we've fixed most of the problems on our own.

do you make your own hack fo fix the "new ticket email notification" to staff when the ticket comes from mb ? Im thinking on it . I have the owned version

Any update here? Is a critical problem if the staff dont use IA and only saw the email to know if there are new tickets.

Any ETA for the next bug build? I think before start working in the new features would be a bug fix release very soon. Stop new features until the actual bugs was solved.... We are paying for a product marked as Stable and not yet stable.
