Email Alerts- Additive - 09-02-2006, 10:04 PM

So, if you have both a Dept Email Alert, and a private one, they are additive- you get both emails....

I was hoping that the presence of a Private Email Alert for a given Department would override a 'Public' Alert for that Department....

Should I submit this as a feature request?

I must be blind today - i'm starting again w/ v3 and cant find where i setup alerts for my staff account?

in the Staff CP - Select Tickets, then Alerts - Insert Alert.

Yes, please write that up as a feature request. The system should compile and distill mail before it sends, as to not send duplicates.
