Unhappy email deletion problem; duplicate tickets/posts - 23-08-2006, 04:00 PM

Hi,

Supportsuite checks our POP accounts and it sometimes can't delete the emails it has already checked. However, it opens tickets for them. So next time it checks our POP accounts, it re-sends the same emails and we end up with many copies of the same posts. I believe this only happens when there are many emails in our accounts. Once I start to clean and reduce the number, supportsuite can delete them. I first thought that this was a timeout issue but I run the mail checker manually to see error messages, but all I see is the standard inbox information at the end (total messages, rejected messages etc.)

Before upgrading from .32 to .90 we didin't have this problem. And no changes have been made on php/mysql setup.

I faced the same problem once, but I increased the schedule time from 1 min to 3 mts. Now the issue is solved.

The system was trying to fetch the tickets before the first task ends, so the tickets were getting repeated.

Try out.
