Email Length Characters kayako will accept? - 08-05-2008, 05:15 PM

After doing some testing I have determined that there must be a limit to the amount of text characters an email can have before Kayako will accept it. I have an agreement that I email my customers and they have to reply to the email with confirmation. The problem is that the replied email is not accepted by kayako. I have checked all our rules, etc.

If I shorten the email everything works ok. But if I keep it at its current length then it will arrive in my email account but when Kayako uses our POP3 to get it the email is lost and never reaches the Kayako Mail parser. The email is around 8,000 characters with spaces.

So the question is, what is the max characters an email can be before Kayako will not accept it? Thanks for your help.

I have a theory, could it be that the table that holds this email information is not set large enough to hold that many characters? If so, any idea what table/column value to check?
