email loop - 20-04-2007, 06:29 PM

We have a email queue set up to receive with the registration required turned on. I am seeing a problem today that a loop has started. The registration required autoresponder is looping over and over in the mail queue. Some how the emai laddress for the queue is also the sender address. What is the best way to handle this situation?

Hi there,

The best way to stop the loop is to either kill the mail queue server side, or momentarily ban the e-mail address that is causing the problem. This often happens where the client has an auto responder set up.
