Email Parser in Windows 2003 - 31-07-2006, 05:24 PM

I can't seem to get email to parse at all.

When I go to http://207.106.214.158/helpdesk/cron....php?_t=parser
I get
Code:
ERROR: Your PHP is not compiled with IMAP Support.
*NIX Users should recompile the PHP with the --with-imap flag and Windows users can simply uncomment the extension='php_imap.dll' line in their php.ini
When I go to my php.ini file, I find the code below with a semi-colon. Does that mean it is commented out? Is this as simple as removing the semi-colon?

Code:
;extension=php_imap.dll
I've taken the semi-colon away, but I get the same message.

Thanks~
Gino

what you need to do - 31-07-2006, 07:24 PM

what you need to do is remove the semi-colon (its a comment out part of php code) and then restart iis or whatever web server app you use. It then reloads the ini file.

Ok, so if I hit http://207.106.214.158/helpdesk/cron....php?_t=parser I get a response, but no email seems to be going anywhere...

Here is the message I get on the URL above

Code:
Total Messages in Inbox: 0
0 Total Messages
Rejected Messages: 0
Accepted Messages: 0
I've submitted a ticket to test this, but haven't seen any emails going anywhere, including a confirmation that I've submitted a ticket.

Any ideas what I might try next? I hit the cron url manually and still nothing.

Gino
