Email Parsing Problems - 24-09-2008, 07:46 AM

Hi there and good morning (in my timezone),

I was wondering abount missing emails.
Having a look in the Email Parser Log, I found some
of the missing mails.
I examined the log entry and compared with those
beeing parsed successfully. But found no difference.
I also wonder, why there's no MIME Data contained
in the Emails.

???

Somebody a Hint?
Thanks in Advance.

Kind regards,

Kriesmer

What exactly do you mean by missing emails? Did the Kayako parser rejected them?

Sorry for the rather unclompete information.
So to say: The Email parser fetches some of the missing mails from the Post Box. But I can't find them in the Ticket System as a new Ticket.
Some mails are not even delivered to the post box. (I know, this is an issue for the Mail-Server Admin). I am trying to find out, why the parser doesn't forward them in the ticket system.

As I found out in the meantime, it doesn't depend on Umlaute or other (invalid) characters.

Kind regards,

Kriesmer

Does the parser report any error?

I must admit, that my knowledge about the SupportSuite is not big yet.
I checked the Parser Log and opened a failled message.
I can't find any failure code or anything.

Maybe I look at the wrong place.

Hu?

Kind regards,

Kriesmer
