Looks like problems are related to emails and email parser, let me explain you: 1. When a create a new ticket from the Staff CP and I type "mexico@ltn.travel", which is a valid email address I get a "Invalid e-mail address entered" message. 2. I created an email queue for "mexico@ltn.travel", and everything works perfectly, the email server is reached, the email messages are fetched but the email queue fails at the end. I get a "Result: No recipients found" error. When I tested with a regular email address "andres1@dewak.com" and eveything worked fine, so my guess is that somehow the .travel domain is the main reason for this problem. Kayako told us that these emails were currently supported, but I don't know if I'm missing something. Do you guys know what might be happening? Is this a bug? I do not think the .travel domain is supported by the parser. May be one of the developers can confirm this. Oh? I didn't realise Kayako hard coded domain extensions into its code. If it is doing, is there a particular reason? Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |

Thanks a lot Jamie, I already found the reason of this bug, It is because of the regular expression that validates the email addresses at the top level domain ({2,6}) in function "isValidEmail" which is in several source code files and swift file I guess. If your developer can contact me and send me the intermediary fix that would be great because we need a solution asap. If there had been a support ticket opened for this, I would have gotten it much faster, and fixed it much faster. Fixed in CVS. -------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello again, I installed the CVS version and it fixed a couple of things however Kayako is still not working properly with .travel, .museum, etc email addresses. I opened a support ticket (SWN-851388) yesterday and still no answer! Can anyone help me out? This was a bug initially, and Dewak's initial diagnosis was largely correct. The defect was repaired. Further problems appear to be local server related. This defect is believed repaired. -------------------------------------------------------------------

This defect may be in regression. At this time it is unclear. In re-clearing the defect, I will probably also make a first pass attempt at support for Punycode URLs. -------------------------------------------------------------------
