Error after installation of SupportSuite - 18-02-2008, 07:13 PM

Hello,

The installation went smoothly without any error. After the installation, we have the following error:

Code:
ERROR: Domain does not match license key file domain (lazer-marketing.com), please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This Product will not work properly unless untill that value is changed.
followed by

Code:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/daveyb/public_html/support/swift.php:273) in /home/daveyb/public_html/support/includes/functions.php on line 1614
The bad thing is we cannot login (not redirecting) to the admin CP in order to rectify the domain value if wrong.

The site is Lazer Marketing - Powered By Kayako SupportSuite

Please advice.

Thank you,

Rem.

Hi Rem,

You need to edit the setting directly via the database. Do you have access to your database via phpMyAdmin or simmilar?

Hello, thanks for the fast reply. Yes, I do have access to phpMyAdmin, just please tell me which table is the one I'll have to modify.

Hi rem,

It is settingid 210 under swsettings.

Remember that the URL must trail with a slash.

Here is the query;

Code:
UPDATE `swsettings` SET `data` = 'http://www.yoururl.com/support/ WHERE `swsettings`.`settingid` = 210;

I think the settingid should be 209 (general_producturl), at least in my case but the domain is exactly as you described above, it has the trailing slash.

Code:
this is the exact value of the data field:
http://www.lazer-marketing.com/support/
When registering the domain, is it necessary to also specify the install directory ?

Thank you.

Hi rem,

No it is not - you only need to specify your domain; lazer-marketing.com

Funny that your settingid is different, I will update my posts after checking the database.

No, you only specify the domain inside the Kayako members area without http or the directory.

Hi Rem,
Well, nothing will work in this case.

It was a simple issue with the domain name registration here. I checked and the domain is registered as: Lazer Marketing and it will not work. I have corrected it to: lazer-marketing.com

Please download the new license key from the members area and it will resolve the issue.

Regards,

Raghav Arora
