| ERROR: Domain does not match license key file domain -

I'm a newbie with Kayako, installed 6 months ago. I tried upgrading to the latest CVS and now I'm getting this error:
ERROR: Domain does not match license key file domain (), please change the product path to match the domain under Admin CP > Settings > General Settings
This Product will not work properly unless until that value is changed.
The upgrade worked on my backup database, but now on the live system I'm getting the above error. I checked the swsettings table but found the info to be the same in both databases. Works on duplicate database and upgrade procedure - but not on live db.
Where does the product update path get set? I've checked the config.php file and it is correct -- its the same as the backup config.php.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
