Exclamation Error on some pages (allow_call_time_pass_reference) - 06-09-2006, 11:18 PM

Quote:
Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated - argument passed by value; If you would like to pass it by reference, modify the declaration of parseCFData(). If you would like to enable call-time pass-by-reference, you can set allow_call_time_pass_reference to true in your INI file. However, future versions may not support this any longer. in /home/robit/helpdesk/includes/functions_customfields.php on line 815
I get the above error on some pages in both the front end (client), staff, and admin.
An example of one of the pages is: /staff/index.php?_m=core&_a=manageusers

It is to do with the custom fields for users.
Is there anything i can do to fix this without changing php settings (shared host so cannot change php.ini).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Version: 3.00.98 UNSTABLE (Build Date: 18 Aug 2006 08:44:54 PM) SupportSuite.

PHP's allow_call_time_pass_reference value can be set in a .htaccess file using php_flag, assuming that the relevant AllowOverride setting is configured in your shared host's webserver
