Exclamation ERRORS after upgrading to 3.11.01 PLEASE HELP - 20-03-2008, 03:44 PM

I figured out my errors but for some reason I can STILL NOT SORT tickets.

Users are not able to sort the tickets that they have created... this is the main reason why I upgraded to 3.11.01

Hi lak,

Do you have mbstring enabled in your PHP installation? If you do not know how to find out, please create a phpinfo file and link us to it here.

Also, why are you upgrading to 3.11.01? The most recent stable release is 3.20.02.

i fixed the blank page part but ppl can still not sort their tickets!

Where is your licensed domain name?

After upgrading, you need to revert all of the templates that require a revert. These steps are covered in the manual.

its an internal licensed domain name

what do u mean revert all of the templates that require a revert? i could not find this in the pdf.


can u tell me what i have to do?

i followed the manual on how to upgrade... i copied the new files over (except config folder) ran the setup and clicked Upgrade. that upgraded the files for me... the manual doesnt say anything else?

Hi Lak,

Login to the administrator control panel, click Templates and then Revert Templates. Search for all those marked as 'Upgrade Revert Required' - those listed will be those that you need to revert.

Why are you upgrading to 3.11.01 and not 3.20.02 (the latest stable release)?

When I login to the admin CP
under templates all I see is:
Mange Groups
Manage Templates
Insert Groups
Search Templates
LoginShare
Import/Export
Restore Templates
Diagnostics

I dont see "revert templates" i upgraded to 3.11.01 because when i downloaded the setup file it was the only one availabe at that time. once I get the sort function working I will upgrade to 3.20.02 at a later time.

I went to Admin CP-> Templates -> Manage Templates and than expenaded the template categories and I see some with red circles that say "upgrade revert required" but how do I upgrade the revert or whateveR?

Click on "Restore Template", choose the Template group, you want to restore, select "Upgrade Revert Required", tick the checkbox in Header-row and click the button at the bottom.
That's all.
