Esupport/Modernbill Integration - 19-11-2006, 06:20 AM

We current have Esupport v3.00.80 and Modernbill 4.x integrated. We have come across a problem. Our users will login to our Modernbill system where they can click the "Contact Support" link which in turn opens the Esupport Page to create a new ticket. The user is able to create a new ticket just fine.

When we login to our esupport system we can see the newly created ticket but when we click on the ticket the body is blank. The header or title of the ticket is dsiplay fine in the email we get about the ticket, and the actual ticket in the panel, but the body of the ticket does not get posted.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi TCA;

The current version of eSupport is 3.04.21 which contains a great deal of bug fixes compared to the version you are running. Kayako support is not very active on the weekend - I would recommend upgrading your eSupport version to 3.04.21 STABLE and see if the problem persists.

Upon some other suggestions I have found on theweb, we have updated to 3.04.10, which was the latest version shown in the member's area.

I was unaware that there was a 3.0.1.21 stable version. I will try upgrading to that and see wht happens.

It's a CVS and not recommended for live installations but I assure you it's quite stable and contains a lot of bugfixes as JimpsEd mentioned.

We have updated to 3.04.21 and also upgraded our Modernbill to the latest availible version for 4, and still the problem persists.

Guess it is time to contact support at both places. I see this problem has been documented in both forums, and no one could fix it short of doing a complete re-install.

Hopefully support can give us some insight into the problem, as we can't afford to do a re-install.
