Hi Peter The phrases in the XML file effect only the front end of your support desk. Once uploading the new language pack file, in order to use it you need to change the settings of your default template group and set this language as the default (Templates -> Manage Groups -> Settings). The phrases in the staff and admin area are found in files, located in /locale/en-us. -------------------------------------------------------------------

The phrases for the customer front side are stored in the database. swift.language.xml is imported into the database when you setup Kayako. If you want to create a new file, there is an Import / Export section of the Languages menu inside the Admin CP. Staff / Admin phrases are stored as files inside /locale/en-us/ Icon Headquarters - Its Elixir - Web2Messenger |
