Exchange Work Around

We are migrating to Exchange and IMAP and POP will be disabled. I have no control over those services. In order to have my tickets created via email this presents a problem.

I was wondering if the following would work:

1) Install a mapi application such as PopMonger on the same server as Kayako to pull back the email.

2) Use PopMonger to redirect the incoming mail to an email server on the same box

3) Retrieve the email from that localhost using pipe to create the tickets.

Trying to get creative and there isn't any mapi support in Kayako which is a bit frustrating. Anyway, would this method work? Or I suppose I wouldn't necessarily even have to pipe it correct?

I imagine all 3 would work as the first two would simply get the email into a box Kayako could pull from. I would go for 2 tho as then you can just continue to pull the mail via POP tho.

Did you get it to work with both disabled? Can you use esupport by submitting via web based form only? What do you lose as I will only have smtp on the server i will be using
