Feedback needed for LiveResponse 4 UI - 16-11-2007, 10:06 PM

We are requesting your feedback regarding Live Response 4's multiple server interface.

Note that 'Monitor', 'Chats', and 'Information' are docking panes and can be rearranged and/or detached to suit your personal preference.

Please leave comments or questions as we are looking to see what customers want from the new interface.

WOW, thats amazing!!! I see you have purchased CodeJock's new UI components which is great. I also like how servers are now done under tabs too.

I don't think the VoIP design matches in though.

um looks great... um can I go ahead and get a copy of that now? just kidding...

okay just as long as the boxes are moveable as I would like the actual chat where the monitor is and the monitor where the chat is...

Looks great... much more swoopy....and integrated... and just a bit interested in the VOIP interface...

But look is only one part... I am more interested in how it functions...

Yup, me too. Make sure you look over the LR Feature Requests board Andrew!

Looks OK - I'm not 100% on it.

I'd actually like the ability to still have chat windows independent from the main window but still have tabs.

I believe all of those panes are dockable.

It looks good however here is a suggestion. Instead of displaying "chat 1" "chat 2" etc... it would be good if it could be labeled with the user's name. That way it would be easier for staff to keep track of which chat window belongs to who. If the name is not available then maybe IP.

Agreed, it looks nice. Will this version have the ability to resize the areas within? For example, on occasion I'd like to have the part where I enter my response to the client larger than the window his responses are in. I'd find it quite handy to be able set this to be half the height of the whole window on opening, and allow it to be adjustable during the chat.
Any hope of this?

Yes - each pane is movable, resizable and (I think) can be docked and undocked.

And are those sizes of windows and if you move them saved on exit unlike the menus currently?
