Filter Tree Ticket Counts - 02-10-2005, 09:27 PM

I've established some new ticket statuses, and moved tickets between these....however, the ticket filter tree (left hand side of tickets view in staff CP) shows incorrect numbers against the status in question, i.e.

Did have 138 tickets of status closed (ticketstatusid=3), renamed closed status to escalated and created new status called closed....then moved all closed tickets to new closed status...however, 138 reference is still shown against the old status.

Looks like a bug. Has anyone else seen this?

I have found that the ticket count is held within a cache 'ticketcachecount'. Updated this by adding a call to the function at the beginning of the ticket tree function and then took it out again. This was clearly caused by my direct manipulation of the ticket data for ticketstatusid in the DB, and not via the application.

tinkering... yup i need to be able to change the status - 06-04-2007, 05:52 PM

I saw this thread... It is very close to my current problem...
I am trying to update the status of a ticket from a external php page.
I have a few basic statuses
open
On Hold
Closed: Waiting for Payment < inbetween status that enable a payment button
Closed < if I set a ticket to closed
Closed: Paid < after user paid via paypal

I have the client get returned to a paypal.php page and that page updates swticketstatus to the number that relates to the status code.
But the Numbers in the Nav Bar are not being updated.

What can I do to update the status of a ticket from an external page?
