Filters do not retain department - 07-10-2006, 02:58 PM

Does anyone else have this? In 3.04.10 when assigning a department to a filter, and submitting it, it defaults back to the top department in the list.

Yes i reported this 4 months ago and finally it was agreed upon this was a confirmed bug and I was told it will be in the next cvs update.

Despite Kayako support trying to help (not sure they understood the issue ) the filters still do not retain the department setting.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes i experience the problem and Varun said it is now a confirmed bug. He also said it was be in an upcoming CVS build. There have been 4 CVS releases since and I am then and still not fixed.

I reported this bug in June and it is still not fixed.

By any chance did you import your data from another tool into Kayako?

Confirmed bug, Will be resolved in the upcoming CVS. I am keeping this ticket Open till then.

Still no resolution to this bug although promised 3 times it was coming in the next CVS build. Someone needs to learn about managing customer expectation and communicating proper resolution time frames.

I am very displeased.
