Question Guest user is added as reg'd user... - 22-08-2006, 03:51 PM

... and I don't want it that way. To be specific, a ticket entered from the support side automatically enters the users information and creates a new registered user. This is bad as when the auto-reply email is sent with the link for the user to track the ticket, they can't login because no password is set for these "auto-users"

How do I turn this off?

currently there is no way to turn it off... But when it automaticly inserts them it should also automaticly generate a password for that user.

Well that would be OK except that the end user has no way of knowing what that password is? So when they go to the link provided in the email, they're presented with an error stating they don't have permission to view that page.
