Hosted: Configuring Settings For Email & "Receiving Tickets", - 27-06-2008, 06:55 AM

Hi Community,

I am now on a hosted package, and I have difficulties in my configurations in sending out my "Autoresponders" and "Ticket Alerts" for my staff.

Despite trying out several combinations of settings, the emails kept on having extra linebreaks. As my staff will be using the "Ticket Alert" to reply to the user, it is important for me to get it right.

I tried sending the tickets in OUTLOOK, GMAIL, and receiving the "Alerts" in OUTLOOK and GMAIL with all "distorted" results.

I do not mind either in TEXT or HTML, as long as it can solve this extra "linebreaks" issue.

Can someone help me by sharing with me their configurations?

For example,
HTML Conversion
HTML E-Mail in Outgoing Mail Settings
E-mail Content Priority
Allow HTML Tags

Which version of Kayako are you using? A client of ours has reported a similar issue with us.

Dear supportskins,

I am using the following on a hosted env:

Server: server6.kayako.net
Version: 3.20.02

My boss is really down my neck, its now under BUGS section but there are so far no replies.

Any help????

This issue indeed is a bug and you will have to wait till Kayako manages to fix the issue.
