I'm hosted as well and haven't had any issues. Log into the Members area - Under where it says hosted account, it will show the actual server your account is on (not the Domain, but the server itself). Relay this to Kayako support in your ticket.

Unhappy I have the same problem with Server6 - 26-05-2006, 06:40 PM

It was down for a bit yesterday...3 hours I think. They blamed it on someone doing mail looping...which is bad and unforseen on their part. Today it's been down for at least 5 hours for me and they are blaming it on network problems at the host.

I don't care where the blame lies, but I need to have confidence in the reliability of the hosted service.

Unfortunately this has been completely out of our control, This is what the NOC had to say.

Hi Varun,

No this is the last reply that we have received from DC:

Alex,

I have this machine in single user mode, something is happening to the network card on this machine, I am trying to figure out what could be the problem.

Sincerely Yours,
Emil Man

Working with them on this issue.
Things should be back to normal now.

it's 10:55 am PST, the next day and it's down again. Please somebody fix this. I really don't want to ask for a reset every morning.

For other people who have hosted support, how many times a month do you see your service go down??

If its really THAT bad... i'm going to buy a copy and host it on some server at the end of my first month.

Anyone who has a good host, please let me know!!! I really need 99.99% uptime. We're going to push all of our support to kayako 100% so i don't need the host to be flaky to give us additional problems.

Hi,
server6.kayako.net is the one that has been causing us all the issues, Earlier this month it was a DDoS attack followed up with a stale email loop and now constant downtime due to a "supposedly faulty NIC card".

We have had 99.99% uptime on all of our other boxes and would like to personally apologize for the problems caused due to this. We are willing to refund the entire charge of this month (Just email sales AT kayako.com).

As for hosting it yourself, You can search the forum for hosting companies, there are quite a couple that provide free installation of our products if you host with them.

Regards,

Varun Shoor

If it is continually Server6.kayako.net causing the problems with DOS and NIC Card Failures.. Maybe you should get a new NIC and change the IP address if you can't block the DOS. (Sooner rather than later please!)
