how to add a department in filter tickets view

basically - i create a department, add this department to each user. but the department does not show up in the left hand column on filter tickets view.

i cant for the life of me remember how i created each department to appear on the lhs (see below).



where is the setting to add a department into the staff view? this setting should, imo, be in the 'edit settings' in the department list.. that is its natural home...



can someone enlighten me?

Hi Angus,
You need to assign your staff user to the departments under Admin CP > Staff > Manage Staff > Edit for them to appear in that tree list.
