How can change charset=UTF-8 - 28-08-2008, 12:00 PM

Hello Guys

I have Problem . I'm Using Arabic Language But when i'm received a new ticket i'm received strange language and my customer

I see charset=UTF-8 in Header . What i do for change charset=UTF-8 to charset=windows-1256

Hi,

I'm currently grappling with this issue with Chinese characters. It is possible to change your default character set but I haven't found this helps.

Try setting your browser to display the page in the correct encoding and see if this works? If your sure you want to display in windows-1256 then you could try editing locale/en-us/en-us.php, though I suspect this issue may be to do the database...

I'm still investigating...

in your htaccess put this line

Code:
php_value default_charset "utf-8"
instead of utf-8 you can put something else
this will force all browsers to show it correctly
and please let me know if it was solved
