How to change the background?

Hi,

I have tried to change the background color for the main page of Kayako. I am modifying the clientcss file but no luck. In previous posts I read that I had to change the .tcat tag. I did it but no effect in the main page.

.tcat
{
background: #80A9EA url(<{$themepath}>/tablebg.gif) repeat-x top left;
COLOR: #FFFFFF;
FONT: 12px Verdana, Tahoma;
}

Anyone else can help me?

Edit the body tag of the clientcss template. It should allow you to edit the background color.

I tried to change the body tag but does not work. I want to change the background to black. Any other ideas?

COLOR: #333333;
FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Arial;
BACKGROUND-COLOR: #FFFFFF;
}

Use the body tag as:

body {
FONT-SIZE: 11px;
COLOR: #333333;
FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Arial;
BACKGROUND-COLOR: #FFFFFF;
}
and not
.body

If it yet does not work, try adding a background-color code in the header template where the body tag appears. Hope this helps.

Thanks, that worked but I don't understand why the original template has the tag like:

.body
{
}

and not as

body
{
}
