How to disable user comments - 10-10-2005, 02:04 PM

In 3.0, how do you disable user comments altogether in Kayako? Cant find the option and since there is no documentation it makes it even harder to find.

I would also like to know how to do this.

It would be nice to have an option to: "Allow user comments - yes/no" under the settings for each section (News, Downloads, Knowledgebase etc.)

Can someone please confirm whether or not it is currently possible to disable comments?

Thanks

Ok, thanks. I thought I may have missed a setting somewhere.

Funny, I was looking around in the Staff section today, and I found comments going all they way back to March!
I never seen this before!

I had to go to the site and see where they entered in their comments.
I can't believe people still submit questions here.
We need a way to turn this off...

My News section gets spammed almost daily, and non of my clients use this, so I would love to turn it off. For now, I'll just hack it out I think.

What we did was edit the template called "kbarticleview." We only commented out the comment part of the page.

By the time I got done, I think I had to comment out code in three templates, and article view was one. Let's see. .. oh there was one in the navigation stack and one in the veiw list template.
