How do you give Assignments to staffs

I need to put a note for my staffs not on ticket but just a note to tell them what I want them to do today?
and at the end of the day they should respond by giving report of what they have done.

Without a mod ? what is the way to achieve that ?

Hi Jnet,

You could use the staff news functionality. News articles marked as Private will only be visible to staff, on the dashboard:






In it, you could ask your staff to e-mail you a corresponding report.

Thanks for the reply but every staff has different task
I want to assign differnt tast to differnt staffs and not make it puplic that all staff see.

You can then use the Tasks functionality under the Teamwork tab. Create a task, assign it to a staff member and mark it as Private.

Thanks exactly this is my problem for days I have been trying to solve this

you see this seems is to issue

in the task you can assign it to a staff but it works as long as it is public viewable by all staffs which can be editted by every body.

you can not assign it to a staff and then make it private IT seems it works but when you go out and come back you will see that it is automatically assigned to you ....

this is driving me crazy I have been working on it for a few days now

Teamwork v4 is going to be an overhaul. Staff and group assignment are expected to be supported, and visibility is going to be more powerful.

I believe v4 will probably resolve these problems for you.

We try to fix problems (bugs) in V3 - most major feature requests will wait until V4.
