How to link the staff and departments?

Hi, All,

We have dozens of staffs belong to serveral departments in ticket system.

It's very clumsy we need to choose the ticket owner from a long long name list, then choose his/her appropriate department accordingly.

Can we setup a linkage between staff and departments, that means when we choose a specific department, only those staff belong to this department showed for being selected, all other staff names hidden.

Same thing, when I choose some staff, automatically fix the department.

That's a very important feature for our company, will highly appreciate if somy solution could be offered.
