How to restrict staff owner list to respective departments - 23-09-2007, 08:19 AM

Hi,
Recently I created different template groups and assigned departments to each group. These departments are linked to respective staff group.

However when a staff member logs in they can see the complete list of staff instead of their own staff group members.

The Owner list has grown and it has become difficult to select from the lengthy list. Let me know how to restrict other department staff members being appearing in the owner list.

Let me know whether this can be achieved by modifying the code.

Any help will be appreciated.

Are we talking about the "Online Staff" box on the left? If so, this would require code modification. I doubt very much code modification would be needed to archive this though as it would just be a change to the query.

No problem, let me know the location of the code I will analyze and if possible fix it by taking a backup of the code.
