How to see all on-line staff users

All,

My staff (about 10 members) and I are each logged in to SupportSuite all day (ranging from 9 AM to 6 PM). I have correctly set the Admin CP to show staff users online (from this link) and I can see some of the staff users.

My question // issue: How can I set SupportSuite to show every staff user logged in to the system, regardless of their activity?

Example -- I'm looking at my Staff CP page & see three staff users logged in -- me, Bob, and Sally. If I walk around my area and look, I see that more of my staff is logged in & using the system than the three listed -- i.e., not only are Bob & Sally using the system, but Roger, Jane, and John are using the system as well... but, they do not show up in the "Online Staff" section of the Staff CP page.

The other issue I've seen with the "Online Staff" section is that the list changes on a minute by minute basis... i.e., when I log in, I see me, Bob, and Sally logged in (but Roger, Jane, and John are logged in as well). When my SupportSuite window refreshes, it now shows me, Bob, Roger, and Jane logged in -- but not Sally or John -- even though all of us are still logged in to the system.

Not sure if this is a bug (if so, I'll need to submit a bug request), designed behavior, or a "feature" of the system.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

When you say online, are they connected via the Windows application or are they logged in via a web browser? Also, how long is it since they changed a page? They could of been timed out due to lack of activity.

We (all the staff) are logged in via the web browser. I've noticed that folks drop off the list after a period of time (haven't had a chance to test the time yet) -- even if they are still logged in to SupportSuite (web page).

(Is there a limit to the number of users that will show up in the "Online Staff" list?)

I *think* it is 15 minutes.

Kayako really need to reuse their live support tracking code here to see if a staff member is still logged in.

Thanks for the info; I'll let my team know that -- it should help stop some of the questions about who is logged in & who is not.
