How to send an alert mail for overdue tickets - 04-02-2007, 07:34 AM

An alert mail needs to be sent to the team when a ticket is Overdue. How to configure this?

You need to configure the SLA to escalate the overdue tickets hence setting the software to send an email alert when a ticket is escalated.

Hi Supportskins!

How would i do that? I have SLAs and escalation rules... however i cannot find where to configure the system to send an email to someone if a ticket gets escalated...

You need to configure the SLA to change ticket priority when the ticket is escalated and at the same time you need to create a new ticket alert under:
Staff CP > Tickets > Alerts where the software should email the staff user when the ticket priority is changed.

But what if I want an alert, lets say, 2 hours before ticket is going to overdue?
