Hi jnet,

To avoid keyloggers, you would have to copy and paste your password (such as, from a USB-key containing a secure password store or from an online password store (I recommend passpack.com)).

You could use this, and/or a password that would be unobvious to someone looking through a keylogger's log, such as "Hi, how are you?".

Finally for network level security, you could install an SSL certificate to your desk's domain.

This is very unlikely, I do not know of a successful trojan that sends screen feeds to a hacker. Your passwords are masked when typing them, so they cannot be seen by someone doing this anyway.

I think he is referring to a screenshot of the text document you mentioned copying the password from but as you say Jamie, it is unlikely.

If someone is going to go to those lengths to gain my password, then it is probably best not to use a public computer
