I do not believe you transit the existing files from database to the files directory. However you can change the software settings to now store any files or attachments into the 'files' directory. Agreed, I think this is a very needed feature! I have added this as a feature request: Transitioning attachments from database to "files" directory As database size increases, causing difficulties for restoring backups. |
