html <br> in each line when the user send an email - 01-10-2006, 11:13 PM

Hi,

We just updated to the last version today (3.04), when a client send us an email, the alert email it coming with </br> on the end of each line.
We use text but looks like something is inserting the html tag there.

Any idea?

Hi,
Please make sure your template settings are correct. If it shows "Upgrade Revert Required" then please restore your templates.

Regards,

same here, and also must be a parser problem because the tickets replyied by the clients through the supportsuite are coming ok, but the ones replyied by email are parsed with the </br> on the end in each line, so i guess is not a template problem.

When replying from Support Suite to a ticket the email comes in with no line break and all the text comes in one line.

Please advise

Exactly the opposite for me. Are you using text or html e-mails? I'm using text e-mails. In my case the piped e-mails come through okay (sometimes) but the replies from the helpdesk have the <br /> tags added.

This problem started with 3.04.00, I noticed it, wasn't sure what was going on! I have since switched to HTML e-mails, so I don't notice it, probably still an issue.

Well, I'm very glad that it's not happening to clients. Anybody know which file controls the e-mail sent to the staff? There has to be some way to get rid of this code or even to switch the staff e-mails to html...
