HTML in staff email replies - Kayako

On staff email replies ONLY, we are getting a bunch of <br/> and   tags in the email. We have HTML off and all templates have been reverted - also we are up to date with the latest release. I can't find out how to fix this, anyone?

Yup..

Me too..and I've submitted a ticket and even did a live chat.
Nothing but crickets from Kayako. I think they are trying to find someone that knows how to fix bad code.

If anyone else knows of an update let me know.
