I purchases SMS credit but my cell provider is not supported by kayako - 09-06-2008, 09:44 AM

I can't change my Cell provider. it is rather tough in this country and will end up paying about 100 Dollars more and I have to change my Cell device too which is a good cell phone and expensive brand new!

Now some body please tell me How I can get cell message when I receive tickets.
Kayako is not supporting my provider

Which provider is it and which country? There may be an alternative provider you can use.

I am sure if your country isn't supported, Kayako would be able to refund if you haven't used any credits.

Hi jnet,

Which country are you talking about? Did you check the coverage list before purchasing?

Kayako only resells this service so it is unlikely if you are not currently supported that they would be able to get you supported.

Which country and network is it?

I do not think Kayako will have any issues with issuing you a full refund.

well I can use my daughter's cell just in case I go for summer vacation
her cell is SK so it is supported. but my kid needs her cell and takes it with her to school

I think I keep the credit there just in case we all go to vacation together

Korea. LG telecom is the provider.

It isn't supported according to the list and the provider I use doesn't seam to support it either.

OK I found a SMS service provider in my country I pay them 1 Dollar a month
get 600 SMS messages per month should be 20 SMS per day.
Only problem is that it only notifies staff inside the country and not outside

I suppose you could modify the code using if / else statements to say if staff member is you, use this SMS service, else use Kayako's.
